Hi, I’m Jake. Graphic Designer based in East London.
I specialise in bold and unique brand identities and moving image.

Oceanic Global (World Oceans Day 2023 & COP27)

Event graphics for COP27 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.

In November 2022 I was approached by Oceanic Global to bring that year’s event identity to life with motion graphics.

I worked with OG to create an eyecatching logo sting and a dramatic series of backdrops to play behind the speakers over the course of the 3-day conference. I then created matching graphics for social output post-event.

Event graphics for World Oceans Day at the United Nations HQ in New York, US.

I worked with Oceanic Global a second time in June 2023 to create event and post-event graphics for their event in partnership with the UN, World Oceans Day.

I was tasked with creating visuals that married how even the deepest oceans and the furthest reaches of space are one and the same, and the influence the health of our oceans have on our blue planet.

Step

Producing graphics and motion graphics for newly launched social travel app Step.

Step creates a digital world through which users can map out their 'steps' (where they've been or where they want to go), can explore our curated content and connect with their friends following their steps around the world.

I joined the team part-time in Jan 2021 to produce motion graphics content for their social media, and have since been heading up the graphic design and creative output of the brand as we grow bigger and bigger.

&Dine

Animation and website design for home cooked food delivery service &Dine

&Dine needed an engaging way to feature new chefs on their platform and reach new audiences, so I created this bouncy logo sting and motion language, as well as a concept for their site redesign.

Kerrang

Animation for historic music mag Kerrang.

I was asked by the creative director to create an animated ident for Kerrang’s new wordmark as part of the recent relaunch with their new image.

Other work

Further work for clients, personal projects and other moving image experiments.
